Race Day Schedule For Swimmers: It WILL be a morning start.

Swimmer Check in opens at Owen Beach Swimmer Check in opens at Vashon Beach |
| 8:30AM | Transport/Walk to Ferry |
| 9:15AM | Ferry departs for Vashon |
| 9:40AM | Mandatory Swimmer meet on Vashon after ferry ride |
| 10:05AM | Race Start - 1st Wave then 5 minutes apart for next wave |
| 10:50AM | Expected first finisher |
| 11:50AM | Swimmer CUT-OFF Time |
Awards will follow as soon as possible (approximately 15 minutes) after last finisher or cut-off time.
Participants will receive the following:
- Brightly colored custom race cap, required for swim
- FREE post-race celebration with awards, yummy refreshments and fun music along with drawings for prizes...must be present to win!
Race Day Schedule for Volunteers:
- 5:30AM - Set up at Owen Beach
- 7:30AM - Kayaker check-in
- 8:00AM - Mandatory Kayaker meeting at Owen Beach
- 8:25AM - Ferry departs for Vashon with sign-in and set up volunteers for Vashon side
- 8:30AM - Kayakers and paddlers start to Vashon
- 9:00AM - Boater meeting at Point Defiance boat launch/dock
- 9:30AM - All boats start moving into positions
- 10:00AM - Kayakers and paddlers get into position for the start
- 10:15AM - Setup for awards and post race food for swimmers & paddlers
- 1:30PM - Tear down and pack up
